Ideally, air miles come with joining fee and annual fee. To make up for the fees, the Bank offers signup bonus in the form of rewards, air miles or vouchers. Mostly air miles are not offered on the basic credit cards.

Credit card companies reward customers for reaching a spending threshold, which is known as a milestone bonus. If you have an air mile credit card, then the milestone bonus offered will be in the form of miles. This will add the miles balance of the card user.

Accelerated Miles

The miles program is like a reward you can strategize the usage of the card to earn more miles. If the card gives you extra miles on booking flight tickets through the bank’s platform that’s a good opportunity, or else you can earn accelerated miles.
