In India, the Volkswagen T-Roc has been reintroduced at a premium cost than the 2020 model. It is imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and comes in a single colour scheme with six options. The T-Roc has only one powertrain option: a 1.5-litre TSI ‘Evo' petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox driving only the front wheels.
The four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 148 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, which is not a new performance record for the class.
