Axis Focused 25 Fund

Axis Focused 25 Fund is suitable for individuals seeking exposure in a Portfolio that mainly consists of stocks belonging to large-cap category thereby attaining, Capital appreciation. The objective of Axis Focused 25 Fund is to invest in quality companies that are able to sustain stock performance and generate long-term capital appreciation over time. This scheme of Axis Mutual Fund also maintains a high conviction approach by Investing in equity and equity-related instruments of not more than 25 companies at a given point in time. Mr. Jinesh Gopani is the sole fund manager of the scheme. Axis Focused 25 Fund was incepted in the month of June 2012 and uses Nifty 50 as its benchmark to build its portfolio. As on March 31, 2018, some of the top holdings of Axis Focused 25 Fund included Shree Cements Limited, Endurance Technologies Limited, Tata Consultancy Services Limited.

DSP BlackRock Focus Fund (Erstwhile DSP BlackRock Focus 25 Fund)

DSP BlackRock Focus Fund (earlier known as DSP BlackRock Focus 25 Fund) is a part of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund that was launched on June 10, 2010. The objective of DSP BlackRock Focus Fund is to attain long-term capital growth from a portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments of a maximum of 30 companies. Mr. Harrish Zaveri and Mr. Jay Kothari both jointly manage DSP BlackRock Focus Fund. As on March 31, 2018, the top five holdings that were a part of DSP BlackRock Focus Fund’s portfolio were HDFC Bank Limited, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Reliance Industries Limited, and IndusInd Bank Limited. Based on the Asset Allocation of the scheme, it invests around 65-100% of its fund money in equity instruments while the remaining in fixed Income instruments. DSP BlackRock Focus Fund uses S&PP BSE 200 TRI as its benchmark index to construct its portfolio.
