Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund is a part of Principal Mutual Fund. This open-ended diversified scheme was incepted on November 12, 2008. The objective of this scheme is to invest the accumulated pooled money in equity and equity-related instruments across various market capitalization and attain Capital appreciation through it. The scheme uses Nifty Midcap 100 Index as its benchmark to construct its Portfolio. As on March 31, 2018, some of the constituents of Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund included IndusInd Bank Limited, Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, State Bank of India, Finolex Industries Limited, Bajaj Finance Limited, and Britannia Industries Limited. Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund is managed solely by Mr. Dhimant Shah. The risk level of this scheme is moderately high.

DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund (Erstwhile DSP BlackRock Opportunities Fund)

DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund (earlier known as DSP BlackRock Opportunities Fund) is a part of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund and was launched in the year 2000. The objective of this open-ended ended diversified fund is to attain capital growth in the long-term attained through a portfolio consisting of large-cap and mid-cap stocks. The scheme invests a minimum of 35% of its pooled money in stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies respectively. DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund is jointly managed by Mr. Rohit Singhania and Mr. Jay Kothari. The scheme uses NIFTY 500 TRI Index as its benchmark to construct its portfolio. As on March 31, 2018, the top five holdings of DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund include HDFC Bank Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, State Bank of India, Tata Steel Limited, and HCL Technologies Limited.
