SIP or Systematic Investment plan is an investment mode in Mutual Funds where people invest small amounts at regular intervals in the Mutual Fund schemes. In case of SIP, it is important to understand that the money is deducted at regular intervals and therefore; people can add billers in their Bank accounts to ensure that the process of SIP is hassle-free. For adding this biller, people need Unique Registration Number or URN which they receive in their emails from Fincash or by logging into the website of Fincash. The process of adding billers for SIP transactions is different for each bank. So, let us understand the process of adding a biller in case of ICICI Bank through this article. These steps are explained below as follows.
Once you reach the homepage of your account, look for Payments & Transfer Tab. Once you click on this tab, you will find many options such as fund transfer, manage billers, manage payees, and so on. Out of these, you need to select Bill Payments Option. The image for this step is given below where both Payments and Transfer Tab and Bill Payments are selected in Green.

Once you click on Bill Payments, a new screen pops out. Here, you will see an option written as Pay New Bills. In the Pay New Bills section, you need to click on Register Option. The image for this step is given below where Pay New Bills and Register both are highlighted in green.

Once you click on Register, a new screen opens where a lot of biller categories are mentioned. Here, you need to select the option of Mutual Funds. Once you click on the Mutual Funds option, a list of billers opens up for which you need to select BSE ISIP# option. The image for this step is given below where Mutual Funds and BSE ISIP# buttons both are highlighted in Green.

Once you click on BSE ISIP# in the previous step, a new screen opens where you need to fill the details of the Mutual Fund and enter the URN. This URN number is the one you receive in your email from Fincash. If you don’t receive the URN; then you can get the same by logging into the website of www.fincash.com and going My SIPs section. Along with the URN, you need to add other details such as Registration Date, Full amount against the Auto Pay Mode Option, whether auto pay is required, account number to be debited, and so on. The image of this step is given below as follows where the URN, Auto Pay Mode, and Next option are highlighted in Green.

Once you click on Next in the previous step, a new window opens wherein, you are required to verify whether the details entered by you are correct or not. If the details are entered correctly, you need to click on Submit. if not you can click on Edit and modify the details. The image for this step is given below where the Submit button is highlighted in Green.

In this step, you need to do a final confirmation regarding the registration of the biller. Individuals while get a message from the bank that they will receive an URN on your registed Mobile Number that needs to be entered in the next screen. The image for this step is given below where the URN message and Confirm Biller both are highlighted in Green.

In this step, you need to enter the URN or OTP Number that you have received in you registered mobile number and click on Confirm. The image for this step is given below where the box to enter URN Number and Confirm button both are highlighted in Green.

Once you click on Next Option, a screen will open where you are supposed to enter the URN number which you receive on your mobile number from ICICI Bank to confirm the biller registration. After entering the URN, the biller gets confirmed and you get a confirmation for the same. The screenshot for the same is as follows.

Thus, from the above steps, it can be said that it is easy to add a biller in ICICI Bank for SIP payments.
